NEW Michigan Builders Pre-licensing Online Course offered through the WCCT.
This class is required by the State of Michigan for any person wanting to become a licensed builder. Each student must complete a 60 hour Pre-Licensing program prior to being able to sign up and take the State Residential Builders 2 Part Exam. The eight modules covered in this course include: Business Management, Estimating and Job Costing, Green Building Design and Building Science, Contracts, Liability, and Risk Management, Marketing and Sales, Project Management and Scheduling, Current Michigan Residential Code, Construction Safety (MIOSHA), and Occupational Codes.

Two NEW Volumetric Mixer Micro-Courses from the WCCT - Volumetric Mixer Operations and Maintenance and Volumetric Mixer Calibration.

Volumetric Mixer Operations and Maintenance
The Volumetric Mixer Operations and Maintenance micro-course covers the essential components of a working volumetric mixer unit. Operations and maintenance best practices are covered in a training video format linked to a 20-question proficiency exam at the end of the course. Fifteen correct is a passing grade on the proficiency exam. A certificate of completion from the World Center for Concrete Technology will be sent to trainees taking and completing the proficiency exam.

Volumetric Mixer Calibration
The Volumetric Mixer Calibration micro-course covers the proper way to calibrate a working volumetric mixer. Best practices in sampling, data recording, data entry, and confirming mix designs are covered in a training video linked to a 12-question proficiency exam at the end of the course. Nine correct is a passing grade on the proficiency exam. A certificate of completion from the World Center for Concrete Technology will be sent to trainees taking and completing the proficiency exam.
