Research and Testing Services Available
Research has been an important part of the World Center’s
evolution since its inception. Our staff can provide confidential
research and testing assistance to whatever level the customer
desires from complete studies to review of previous results. The
facility can be leased to companies interested in conducting their
own research in the state of the art Besser concrete products
plant.
Research has been conducted on admixtures, pigments, waste ash of
many types, slags, ground glass, plastic, rubber and solid waste,
just to name a few. Individually controlled bays allow us to steam
or mist cure at different temperatures. The testing laboratory is
adjacent to the manufacturing laboratory and is available to test
products and materials by ASTM standards.
